About Kurame
Our Mission
Kurame exists to support women living with endometriosis—a condition that affects millions globally, yet remains widely misunderstood and undertreated. We believe that accessible, evidence-based information and genuine community matter.
Endometriosis is complex. It impacts not just physical health, but work, relationships, mental wellbeing, and daily life. Many women spend years searching for answers, navigating medical gaslighting, and piecing together information from scattered sources. Kurame brings that information together in one place—grounded in research, informed by lived experience.
What We Offer
Our journal features articles on symptom management, nutrition approaches, mental health, treatment options, navigating healthcare, and stories from women in our community. Every piece is written with both clinical rigor and compassion—because living well with endo requires both knowledge and validation.
We don’t claim to have all the answers. Endometriosis is individual—what works for one person may not work for another. Instead, we aim to equip you with information, normalize your experience, and remind you that you’re not alone.
Our Vision
A world where women with endometriosis are heard, believed, and supported. Where diagnosis comes faster. Where treatment options are truly patient-centered. Where the condition is visible in public conversation, not hidden in shame or silence.
Until we get there, Kurame is here—a resource, a reference, a small space of understanding.
